Whether you work your direct selling business full-time or part-time, you always have many activities to choose from to occupy your time. Some are easy to do, like responding to emails, posting on Social Media, and checking in with the people on your team. All are necessary activities for sure. But this is the easy stuff. It’s not what really moves your business forward in a substantial way.

But what about those activities that take you out of your comfort zone, stretch you a little, make you uncomfortable? Going LIVE, reaching out to new people on your contact list, speaking on a virtual event, asking a prospect to move from text to phone, or doing Three-Way calls (or ZoomWays!) with your Sponsor.

Many people agree, this is the tough stuff! And I promise you – it’s the tough stuff that will move your business forward. And not just this summer, but in every season.

Three-way calling with your Sponsor (and/or a downline or crossline buddy) is one of the most effective ways to share the fun, positivity and relevancy of your business.

And in today’s world, there are so many virtual platforms that support your Three-Ways or Connect calls:

Zoom (we call them “ZoomWays” instead of “Three-ways”!), Smart phone, Loom video conferencing, FB Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp (Messenger and Business), Video Messaging, and Voice Memos.

Learn to use a variety of these platforms, and you will see your business grow exponentially. Most of these apps are available across desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.

When you combine all the Social Media marketing you’re doing, with live Three-Ways or ZoomWays, you will expand your ability to share.

On the other hand, your resistance to doing activities that make you uncomfortable is a key indicator for failure. It separates wanna-be champions from top-of-the-plan champions.

There is a big difference between dabbling, or taking a very casual stance with your business, and taking consistent action in part-time hours. Remember, it’s what you do during those part-time hours that will ultimately reflect your achievement.

For years I had a quote in my office that read, “The least effective people do the easy stuff first!”  To this day, I choose NOT to be least effective.  I challenge you to make the same commitment.

You’re the boss, so own it! And find the joy in moving your business forward on your terms.
