You are ready to make a conscious change in your life – and you’re excited! But as you begin to make your move, you are assaulted by a barrage of “disapproval bullets” shot at you by colleagues, friends, or loved ones:

“You’re going to do what?”

“What makes you think you can do that?”

“What’s gotten into you?”

“Isn’t that a bit unrealistic?”

“Why can’t you ever be satisfied with what you’ve got?”

“Why now, when things are going so well?”

“How will you handle it if and when you fail?”

As their bullets pierce your confidence, your optimism is shot dead. And what rises from the dead like emotional zombies? All your self-imposed fears and limiting beliefs:

“What was I thinking?”

“I’ve never done anything like this before.”

“I don’t want to make a fool of myself in front of my friends and family.”

“I’ve tried and failed before, what makes me think this time will be different?”

“Can I really do this?”

“Should I even try?”

How do you fight the negativity and fear – and find the courage to stay true to your dream, then take action?

By being bulletproof!

“Bulletproof? What’s that?” you may be wondering.

Let me give you my definition of bulletproof: The ability to give negative words, resistance, or even verbal attack no meaning.

An analogy for this concept is Superman and Supergirl. Both have superhuman abilities that include impervious skin. They are literally “bulletproof”, immune to attack. Bullets, grenades, or even rocket launchers fired at them bounce right off. They have no fear because they KNOW they can withstand any attack.

How do you stop negatives of any kind from shooting you down? Hitting you like a bullet and causing you to doubt yourself:

BAM! “They’re right! I can’t do this.”

BAM! “I fail at everything I try.”

BAM! “I knew this was a bad idea before I even started.”

BAM! “I always come up short.”

When you are bulletproof you’re impervious to all incoming shots, whether it’s a bullet (negative words), a grenade (resistance), or a rocket launcher (verbal attack), they’ll bounce right off and you’ll remain confident and optimistic:

BAM! “They’re wrong! I CAN do this!”

BAM! “I can create success in any area of my life!”

BAM! “This is a great idea and I can make it work!”

BAM! “I achieve whatever I set my mind to – and more!”

When you are bulletproof, you will be cool and confident. You’ll overcome fear or limiting beliefs, take action and achieve your goals. And it will appear you are doing so effortlessly.
