“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.” Yogi Berra’s great advice certainly applies to entrepreneurs! When you don’t have goals, and a plan to achieve them, you certainly won’t end up where you want to be. Remember, a goal not set is a goal not met.

Q4 is a time to know exactly where you’re going. A clear focus on the fundamentals during the months of October, November and December can set you up for a record New Year and give you fresh momentum to carry into January.

When you Master the Cycle of the Seasons, you learn how to adapt your Direct Selling activities to work in harmony with the unique aspects of each season, which opens the door for success and momentum.

For 4th quarter, it’s critically important to make your plan now so you can manage the many distractions of the fast-approaching holiday season – and prepare you for the holiday celebrations. When looking at November and December, the #1 tip is to close each month BEFORE the month end holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever festivities you celebrate.

Let’s debunk the idea that “some seasons are slow”. October is the time to pick up your prospecting pace and move with focused determination into this new cycle. When you organize your calendar, and schedule your hours of operations, you’ll be able to make incredible progress. And, over the next few months, you’ll be prepared for the many opportunities to interact with new prospects throughout the holiday season. Be on the lookout for unique situations as they present themselves – and be ready to take advantage of them.

This season presents the ideal 90-day plan opportunity. I love working a 90-day plan. It’s popular for many reasons. For one, it conforms to the quarters of the year and the seasons of the calendar. There is comfort and familiarity with a three-month period.

Additionally, 90 days is not too long. It’s not as if you’re committing to do something for one year, two years or five years. Anyone can commit to 90 days!

So, it’s not too long; and yet, it’s long enough. Consistent activity over 90 days is long enough to create new habits, new skills and new growth. This can result in an increase in sales, sponsoring, volume and income.

Tailor your 90-day plan to work with your company’s business system and pay plan. Work with your Sponsor or upline leader to set your year-end goals, then create and implement a 90-Day Action Plan to bring those goals to fruition.

Let’s sum this up with a quote from Zig Zigler:

“Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation.”

It’s time to prepare to take advantage of all the opportunities coming up during fourth quarter. Make a 90 Day Plan and turn 2024 into your most successful year ever!
