Is it time to change your life? Is your vision for something more, greater, or different? Ready to bring your vision to life? It’s time to leap into a new phase!

Learn to Choose Courage and Live Life on the Edge

Assess Your Life

Not everyone is willing to live life on the edge. Some have chosen to settle, even though they want more from life. Others are too afraid to even think about stepping out and taking action. Staying in the safe zone won’t help you realize your full potential.

Would you like to bring a new vision to life? Your vision could be about a relationship, your lifestyle or health, or a desire to create more success in your business.

To begin, you must identify your goals. Let’s say you want to build a more successful business, yet you’re not sure how to move forward.

Ask yourself these questions: Are you consistent with your efforts? Do you study successful people and follow their example, applying the strategies of those who have succeeded before you? Do you have a mentor or coach who can help you tailor proven strategies to your current situation and point out what your next steps should be? What about finding a colleague – someone who also wants to improve their business – and joining forces as accountability partners?

Step Up to the Edge

Woman thinking of ideas at the office | How To Change Your Life: Live Life On The Edge

There are so many ways to avoid living on the edge and jumping into the life you imagine. Most people are stopped by their fears – fear of failure, rejection, even fear of success. Once fear takes control of your life, you’ll find yourself stuck. But you CAN choose courage and take action to live your dreams!

Back in 2015, I felt it was time to take a leap into a new phase in my life. I finally found the courage to sell my home and literally “move” into a new life. I admit, I was emotionally attached to my home and the 11 years of memories and experiences I’d had there.

Yet with the support of family and friends—and a lot of journaling and vision work—I finally stepped toward the edge and got ready to leap. Was I scared? You bet!

How I Leaped off the Edge … and Soared High

So what inspired me to finally take that leap? My vision became bigger than my fear!

Say again? My vision became bigger than my fear!

I created and embraced undeniable benefits for leaping off the ledge. In other words, I became so excited and inspired by the vision I had created for my new life, I became unstoppable. Nothing could have kept me from leaping! Or in this case, listing my home and moving into another.

And interestingly enough, my reality imitated my vision work. In fact, my vision was perhaps a bit too powerful! My home sold immediately, I needed to do a bit of scrambling, but I was able to purchase the home of my dreams.

If I had been crippled by fear, I would not have been able to even consider buying the house I’ve always wanted. Are you in the same situation? Are you in a place in your life where you want something but are too scared to make the leap? Like me, you can change your life by taking action to move toward the edge.

The first step is to create a vision for your dreams and work to make that vision a reality.

Note about vision work: Really focus on the details. My journaling was so weighted with pace that things moved almost faster than I could keep up with. My home sold in three weeks. The buyer gave me four weeks to move out. My new home was under construction and wouldn’t be ready for months.

In just 10 weeks from solidifying my vision work, —my home was sold, and I was in a beautiful rental while my new home was being completed.

Whew! Now that’s pace!

Like me, you can learn how to change your life as well. You can do the same thing with your business or in any area of your life. Figure out where you want to make a shift. Create a vision that’s so great, compelling it will move you forward. Experience life on the ledge, and then take the leap into your new future. You can leap into the next phase of a new and inspired life. So what are you waiting for?
