Every season of the year offers its own unique benefits and distractions for your business.

This year, the distractions are unlike any before. In our post-pandemic world, it’s imperative you learn to turn the many distractions into a bundle of benefits. Why?

Because perceived distractions tempt us to waver in our commitment to succeed, letting our time-management priorities slip, and our vision to dim.

As your move into summer 2022, how are you feeling about your business?

Are you defeated?  “Oh, well, my business isn’t really a priority right now.”

Are you frustrated?  “I can’t figure out how I’m going to work my business around my family’s crazy schedule – especially with limited childcare.”

Are you confused?  “I just don’t know what to do!”

Are you stuck? “I can’t get out of my own way!”

With the world transformed, you have new and refreshing opportunities to meet people, network, and socialize. Summer 2022 is now officially “networking on demand!”

Taking the kids to sporting events? You’ll find new people to talk to.

Taking a trip? Another opportunity to meet new people.

Summer – like all seasons – offers opportunities for exciting new growth. And yet, you must dispel an urban myth.

How often do we hear a direct seller say something to the effect of, “Summer is a slow time for my business”? After more than three decades in this profession, one thing I know for sure. Seasons aren’t slow. People are slow. Let’s not confuse the two.

During every summer season, we hear stories of teams – in every company – creating record-breaking sponsoring, sales, and growth. Therefore, if teams are experiencing record-breaking growth during the summer season, how can the season be to blame?

As an entrepreneur with a dream, here’s the reality: It’s not the season, it’s your sales and sponsoring. It’s not the season, it’s your activity level. It’s not the season, it’s whether or not you and your team are in action.

If your team is flat moving through the summer, then yes, your season can be slow.

And yet, if your team embraces the “networking on demand” philosophy, and consistently creates new sales and sponsoring, then YES, you can create a record-breaking summer season.

So don’t blame it on the season! If you’re having a hard time getting focused right now – and many people are – you’re not alone!

Work with your Sponsor or upline mentors to create a plan – and then take action!

Ask yourself these questions to solidify your goals: “Where do you want your business to be by the end of the summer?  What do you want your title, your organizational volume, your income to be?”

You don’t need 40 hours a week to be wildly successful. It’s what you do in the hours you have that make the difference. With consistent activity, you can enjoy the summer – overcome any distractions – and create a record-breaking season.
